Commercial Lines Producer

Omaha Insurance Services is searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented Commercial Lines Producer to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with business owners, identifying and analyzing their risk profiles, and crafting customized insurance solutions to meet their specific needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, understanding their unique risks and exposures.
  • Prospect and qualify leads, generating new business opportunities through various channels (e.g., networking, referrals, cold calling).
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze client needs to develop comprehensive insurance proposals.
  • Negotiate and place coverage with insurance carriers, securing the most competitive rates and terms for clients.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, ensuring exceptional customer service and ongoing communication.
  • Manage and retain existing client base, ensuring renewal business and growing the book of business.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes, maintaining a deep understanding of commercial insurance products and market conditions.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Active or attainable state insurance producer license (e.g., Property & Casualty, Commercial Lines)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages (e.g., Property, Liability, Workers’ Compensation, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
